Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Engineering aims to contribute to betterment of society through excellence in innovative education, active learning and research at the highest level. It is the common aspiration of our staff to render the Faculty as the most successful and respected Faculty of Engineering in our region and be known for blending the best of past experience with new practices in teaching, research and contribution to the society.

Our biggest challenge is the provision of a high-caliber education and advanced-research through maintaining the best faculty, the most effective teaching and learning facilities and attitude, the best student recruitment from Middle-East to Africa, Asia and the EU. Students are encouraged to become active learners in our education system, learn to take education seriously and enjoy living and studying in our Faculty. We are very ambitious in student’s proficiency in English as a foreign language, international culture and ICT competency in order to reinforce student’s professional skills.

ABET accreditation of our programs in the Faculty of Engineering and accession of Eastern Mediterranean University in the European University Association and International Association of Universities, led our way to broaden our horizon for student recruitment to cover the entire globe. Additionally, our well experienced and professional staff, together with their students, has been serving the society through a number of research centers such as Traffic Education and Research Centre, Research Centre for Water and Marine Sciences, Advanced Technologies Research and Development Centre, Internet Technologies Research and Development Centre, Building Sciences Research Centre, Construction Management Research and Practice and the Energy Research Centre. In these centers, students from 27 different countries and faculty from 15 different countries all experience improving their practical skills as well as team working abilities and productivity. In 30 years, our dream of creating a multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary education environment has finally come true.
